The Skarloey Railway Theatre

The Skarloey Railway Theatre is a stage built by Rusty and Mr. Hugh to put on a production of Hamlet.

History

Following Duncan's debacle at the Sodor Shakespeare Company's Theatre, The Thin Controller reluctantly agrees to put on the production as a railway as a form of compensation. As such, the technical crew of Rusty and Mr. Hugh construct the facility to put on the play. The facility includes a Large stage area, a backstage with sidings for the engines to rest during the show, and bleachers for the audience during the performance.

During rehearsal, Bertram realizes that Mighty Mac cannot simultaneously face the audience based on the fact they are a double fairlie. To compensate, the director proposes adding a turntable, only to be shut down by the Thin Controller on the basis of cost.
